THE:PLACE 2nd Round ONLINE MATCHMAKING EVENT

The second round of THE:PLACE is in full swing with an Online Matchmaking event. Picture this: 8 CSOs from Türkiye and 8 from the EU, all virtually gathered to spark the first flames of potential partnerships.

We, program co-managers MAD and ALDA (European Association for Local Democracy), kicked things off in our virtual conference hall, giving a warm welcome to the everyone, along with program supporter Stiftung Mercator.

Then, it was all about speed-meeting! The participants exchanged insights about their organizations and areas of expertise. In the grand finale, they huddled around virtual tables for one-on-one meetings, diving deep into the potential collaborations ahead.

The next event on our agenda is the ‘Crossroads Event’ in İzmir, which already took place from October 9th to 13th. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring together CSOs from both the first and second rounds, along with local authority representatives. There’s so much we’re excited to share!
