Kerem Çiftçioğlu
Çiftçioğlu has been serving as the Communications Director since joining the Hafıza Merkezi in 2014. He seeks to explore and reflect on the potential of communication to create attitude and behavior change, particularly in the field of human rights. His interests and areas of work include hope-based communication, storytelling, and interdisciplinary and creative collaborations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Social and Political Sciences from Sabancı University and his master’s degree in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex. After completing his bachelor’s degree in 2004, he worked in various volunteer and professional roles at non-profit organizations, including the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly, Istanbul Bilgi University’s European Union Institute, Europa Nostra‘s Turkey office, and the Initiative for Soldier’s Rights.
