After graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2008, Türemez has been practicing law and providing legal consultancy in various fields of law. For many years, she has been involved in voluntary and professional work within civil society, and has participated in research and reporting activities. In 2016, Türemez completed a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law at Middlesex University as a Chevening Scholar. Subsequently, she undertook program management at Amnesty International’s Turkey branch and served as a research consultant at Amnesty International. Her past work and current areas of interest include corporate human rights and due diligence, access to justice, freedom of expression, and intellectual property law.
