# THE:PLACE
# 2nd Round Projects
This initiative seeks to raise eco-consciousness and promote ethical fashion among youth in France and Türkiye through educational events and workshops, while highlighting local initiatives and tools that support responsible clothing consumption.
Images from project implementation stage
The project provides a dynamic and engaging framework for youth from Paris and Karaman to rethink their clothing consumption through roundtable discussions on eco-fashion, workshops on sustainable development, educational activities, and a pop-up thrift shop featuring eco-friendly clothing. It fosters exchange between the two partner organizations, allowing participants to present each other’s initiatives. Additionally, young people learn practical skills like sewing, crocheting, and embroidery to upcycle their own clothes, while the project promotes responsible disposal and collection of unused clothing through the “Textile Waste Box.
