Images from project implementation stage
Its specific objectives included identifying key actors in local food systems, fostering collaboration networks among them, enhancing the capacity of local stakeholders, and encouraging the active participation of consumers and producers in local strategies and policies. It also aimed to raise awareness among local authorities about agroecological production and short food supply chains, advocating for these issues to be integrated into their agendas to promote a circular economy. It generated stronger ties between local producers and consumers, operating change on the ground level.
The project facilitated the exchange of experiences between Buğday and KE, aligning with shared priorities of increasing agroecological production, promoting food sovereignty, improving local food supply chains, and enhancing community engagement. In this regard, it contributed to raising awareness of agroecological production methods and local food supply chains for the benefit of the environment, the economy, and communities.
