Ecological Manifestos for a Post Pandemic World brings together twelve manifestos that envision the era following the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to provide a bold, ecological, and democratic vision that will respond to times of crisis. The book is now available in print in Turkish and English featuring all the manifestos that have been published online since 2021 along with the illustrations.
Exploring the pros and cons of the future that awaits us, the book features a discussion on degrowth by Bengi Akbulut, ecological justice by Ethemcan Turhan, energy by Gökçe Günel, the right to water by Leila Harris, food sovereignty by Candan Türkkan, rights of non-human beings/animal rights by Hilâl Alkan ve Sezai Ozan Zeybek, queer commons by Aslı Zengin, urbanization by Michael Goldman, the right to housing by Yaşar Adnan Adanalı, sustainable transportation by Eda Beyazıt, democracies of proximity by Ulaş Bayraktar, and human security by Evren Balta.
Başak Arslan, Dilara Akbal, Uğur Altun, Özgür Can Taşçı, Meltem Şahin, Vardal Caniş and Bilge Emir created illustrations that embody the manifestos.
