MAD collaborates with national and international institutes to carry out activities in accordance with the goals stated in the organization’s charter and utilizes domestic and international grants for programs and projects developed by the organization. Developing independent content, budgetary transparency, and accountability, aiming maximum production and social impact by using a minimum amount of resources are among our fundamental principles in the utilization of grants.

Development and Peace
We received institutional support for the activities of documentation, reporting, and advocacy of the issues of spatial justice including our main projects such as beyond.istanbul publications, Urban Political Ecology Summer School On the Roads of Istanbul and MADvideonews.
European Endowment for Democracy
We received support for our research and training programs including the public program of MADacademy, MADresearch fund, and Hope Archive Video Marathons, and for improving MAD’s institutional infrastructure.
Civil Society Development Center (Sivil Toplum Geliştirme Merkezi-STGM)
We participated in the Birlikte [Together] program which was initiated to improve the institutional capacity of local NGOs with the support of the European Union. Our fixed expenses were covered under the program.
Chrest Foundation
We received support to continue the field trips of river basin studies carried out under the Environmental Justice Program and to compile the collected data on the online platform.
Bertha Foundation
We collaborated with the Bertha Foundation to conduct research on the global housing crisis and housing activism, publish and create a network with international activists.
